WB Police Constable Pattern-2024

1. Preliminary Written Test

Total Marks: 85
No. Of Question: 85
Question Type: MCQ
Time: 1 hour

General Awareness and General Knowledge: 25 Marks Elementary Mathematics (Madhyamik Standard): 25Marks Reasoning: 25Marks English: 10

2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

The physical standards (height and weight) of the candidates as given under 3(e) will be tested by using Electronic Machines of those who qualify in the Preliminary Written Test.

Male Candidates

Female Candidates

Others Candidates : Height- 160cm, Weight- 49 kg

Gorkha, Garwali, Rajbanshi & ST Lady Candidates : Height- 152cm, Weight- 45 kg

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Male Candidates: 1600 (Sixteenhundred) meters run within 06 (six) minutes 30 (thirty) seconds.

Female Candidates: 800 meters within 4 minutes

5.Interview

Full Marks: 15

A limited number of candidates will be called for Interview in accordance with merit. In the Interview, the general awareness and suitability of the candidate for public service will be tested.On the basis of the marks obtained in the Final Written Examination and the Interview, a merit list of the provisionally selected candidates will be prepared by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
